Starting at Gatesgarth Farm, this photowalk takes us up the path between Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks alongside the waterfalls of Warnscale Beck.
With a stop at Warnscale Bothy and the incredible views to Buttermere and Crummock Water and the window with the best view in the Lakes. Then on to Blackbeck Tarn and Innominate Tarn, Alfred Wainwright’s favourite place and where his ashes were scattered. From Innominate Tarn we then head up to the summit of Haystacks where there is the third tarn and incredible views over Buttermere and Ennerdale.
We come down from the summit via Scarth Gap back to the lake where we get a view of the entire route.
